MF Consulting Engineers is a Structural Engineering firm based in London with a broad experience in delivering projects throughout UK.

With over 15 years of experience in the industry, we have worked on a wide range of projects across various sectors.

We focus on being fully transparent with our clients and providing a proactive collaboration with developers, architects and construction professionals.

MFCE recently completed a project providing engineering support for planter boxes outside Art Hotel (Part of Park Plaza). While this was a small project, it exemplifies our commitment to precision and quality in every aspect of our work as we continue to grow and take on diverse projects.

🏗 Project Spotlight: Suspended pool for our key client Park Plaza Riverbank

Sharing a project that involved the installation of a suspended pool in an existing 1st floor of the hotel.

➡️ Highlights:

- Construction of a suspended pool measuring 13m x 3.6m x 1.2m deep for a new spa on the 1st floor of the existing hotel.

-The new 60-ton pool is supported by existing 1st-floor steel members and occupies the Ground Floor mezzanine area, where the plant room is located.

-The presence of live services and pipework, coupled with limited space, required a complex construction scheme and sequencing.

-Two new 13m trusses were designed and spliced in three locations to facilitate construction.

-Strengthening of existing steel beams and connections was also necessary.

ℹ️ This project was developed while working at Meinhardt UK in 2017.

🏗 Project Spotlight: IVY Asia Restaurant Conversion

Sharing a project that involved the transformation of a former Jamie Oliver restaurant into the flagship IVY Asia Restaurant!

➡️ Highlights:

- Designed a slender bar gantry to support a stunning Dragon sculpture, now the centerpiece of the space.

- Added a new mezzanine floor with a steel frame, requiring careful integration with existing structures.

- Conducted a detailed assessment of the existing mall floor to ensure it could accommodate the new loading.
